BCEA Year-End Awards

INFO FOR BC INTERMEDIATE RIDERS

The BCEA Awards Committee , in support of Intermediate competition in BC, will award BC horse/rider combinations who enter and compete successfully in the Intermediate division at any BC events will earn DOUBLE YEAR END AWARDS POINTS. Points earned at out-of-province Intermediate competition will continue earning Year End Awards points as posted on the BCEA Year End Awards Points Chart.  For 2024, Year End points will accrue until the end of the last US Area VII Intermediate competiton.

COMBINED DIVISIONS

The BCEA Awards Committee and the board of BCEA have determined that qualifying results earned at a CD will be awarded at the level of the XC test , both for Year End Awards points earning and for inclusion onto the Championships Eligibility list.

Qualifications & Requirements To Compete

Remember all riders must have completed a minimum of 2 events at EV90 (Pre Training) level with qualifying scores in order to be able to move up to Training. All must have completed a minimum of 3 events at Training with qualifying results in order to be able to move up to Preliminary. See full EC Participation Eligibility table and scroll down to the Horse Trials Participation Policy. 

Training and above must complete the Qualifications of Horse and Rider section on the bottom of the entry form. Keep track of your competition scores to make this easier for you.

All horses at Training and above must have a current EC Horse Recording or passport.
